In the year 1996, Dorya started a very important project called “Giving back to nature...”

Every year, millions of acres of land are destroyed by wildfires around the Globe. 

In conjunction with local municipalities and governments, Dorya invests into rehabilitating these lands that are completely destroyed, shaping them so that new growth can be administered. Upon completing the rehabilitation, Dorya invests in planting new life into these lands. Since the year 1996, Dorya has planted over 30,000 trees. 

The “Green Chair” project was launched in 2006, on the tenth year anniversary of the Dorya forests. With this project, Dorya is aiming to increase the attention on the project and lead a way by sponsoring events with the Green Chair or having benefits for the cause. With every Green Chair sold, Dorya invests all income to the Dorya forests. 

“30,000 trees is much more than what we could use for 150 years of production...,” says Doruk Yorgancioglu, Dorya USA’s C.E.O.

With the Green Chair initiative, Dorya is planning to reach the number 100,000 on the 25th anniversary of the start of the project.
